wilco opened for neil young last night. abbreviated performance and lots of echo in the arena but it was def enjoyable. one of the songs that i really wanted to hear was i am trying to break your heart but unfortunately, no go that night. anyway, here’s a version of the song from their documentary.
ahhh, I got to see Neil Young at MSG last night (12/15). last minute surprise. i love this man. sooooo happy. msg isn’t my fav, esp. for this kind of concert, but i loved every minute regardless. everest and wilco opened and then neil came on and played for over two hours (!)
i loved the madonna sticky & sweet tour at MSG. i don’t even like madonna that much but the show was quite impressive. she is in ridiculous shape. gross, but wow.
i did think her photo montage featuring mccain next to hitler, mussolini, kim jong il, etc. and barack next to martin luther king, nelson mandela, and mother theresa was slightly untasteful.
