A while back, NYMag did a grub street post about seaweed. I ate dinner at 15 East last night and got to try the eleven types of seaweed they talked about in the article in one sitting. YUM. My favorites were the Wakame and the Hijiki but they were all interesting and completely different from one another in textures and flavors. The omakase menu is amaaaazing and it is a privilege to sit in front of Masa at the sushi bar while he is making all of the sushi. In addition to the sushi, we had some slow-poached octopus and three different types of uni :)
